Financial aid was designed as a means of helping students financially to attend college by supplementing cost aimed in helping those who on the other hand might not have the wherewithal to continue their education.

Securing financial aid should always be the first thing that students do when looking to attend college when there is a need financially. The new printed version for FAFSA is usually available in the second week of October. The new online version is usually available doing the first week of January. The last day to submit a FAFSA is June 30.

Now after submitting your application, it will be processed and you will be sent a (SAR) Student Aid Report. This report is a summary of what you have submitted on the FAFSA form. When the college or university, who you request that the SAR be sent to, get it may require additional information from you. Doing admissions and registration for classes, financial aid is computed and you will be notified about where you stand financially.
