Each spring, awards are presented at the SWE Baton Rouge Section scholarship program to those recipients who qualify. Yearly, many companies are invited to contribute to next year’s scholarships fund which if they make a $1000 minimum donation, that scholarship is named after them.   They usually give out 6 to 7 awards per year to college freshmen.
