New York Scholarships

Albert E. Wischmeyer Memorial Scholarship Award

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) Education Foundation is sponsoring the Albert E. Wischmeyer Memorial Scholarship Award.  Those who wish to apply for this award must have a min 2.5 GPA and attend a New York college.  Area of study includes manufacturing engineering, manufacturing engineering technology and mechanical technology.  $1000 to $1900 will be awarded to two undergraduates.  For more information and how to apply, check the website for more information.

New York's Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)

The New York’s Tuition Assistance Program is a grant program that is need-base for students who must have money for college.  It’s the largest in the U.S. and helps many students.  In order to be eligible, students must be a resident of New York and enrolled in a university of college within the state.  Students who attend college full time may receive up to $5000. Those who wish to attend school part time can apply for the part time TAP.  All students that apply for this award must fill out a FAFSA.
